1. Privacy Policy

ActCheckTracker (hereinafter referred to as "this application") considers user privacy as top priority. This application is designed to operate completely offline (local) and does not send user data to the outside without permission.

1.1 Collected Information

This application collects and records the following information within the user's PC for the purpose of "Visualization of Personal Work".

• Statistical Activity Data:
  • Number of keyboard strokes (aggregated by key type)
  • Number of mouse clicks (aggregated by button type)
  • Mouse movement distance and scroll amount
  • Application usage time (Active time / Idle time)
• Application Information:
  • Process name of application used (For categorizing usage time)
• System Information:
  • Device ID (Anonymized hash value)

1.2 Information NOT Collected

This application technically does NOT acquire the following information concerned with privacy.

• ❌ Key Input Content: Specific character strings typed on the keyboard (passwords, message bodies, etc.) are strictly not recorded. Only the statistical fact that "a key was pressed" is recorded.
• ❌ Screen Content: Screen captures (screenshots), window titles, file names, browser URLs, etc. are not acquired.
• ❌ Personal Information: Names, email addresses, credit card numbers, etc. are not collected.

1.3 Data Storage Location

All data is stored only in the local folder inside the PC where this application is installed.

1.4 Data Protection

This application does not upload data to external servers or the cloud. Only when the user explicitly uses the "Export" function, a data file (JSON) is output to an external location (USB memory, etc.), but the management of that file is the user's responsibility.

1.5 Conflicts with Security Software

Since this application uses Windows standard API (such as SetWindowsHookEx) to monitor operation amounts, it may be falsely detected as "monitoring software" or "keylogger" by some antivirus software.

This application monitors for legitimate purposes (self-management of work), and absolutely does not misuse data or transmit it externally. If a warning appears, please add this application to the "Exclusion List" or "Trusted Applications".

2. Terms of Use

2.1 License

This application is provided as freeware (or Microsoft Store app). Users can use this application freely for personal or commercial purposes.

2.2 Prohibited Acts

The following acts are prohibited regarding the use of this application.

• Use for the purpose of monitoring third parties improperly (Surveillance without consent)
• Analysis, reverse engineering, decompilation, disassembly of this application
• Redistribution, sale of this application (Except for legitimate distribution via Microsoft Store)
• Acts that violate laws or public order and morals

2.3 Disclaimer

The developer has paid close attention to the development of this application, but does not guarantee anything about the normal operation or fitness for a particular purpose of this application.

The developer shall not be liable for any damages (including but not limited to loss of data, machine failure, business interruption) caused by the use or inability to use this application. Use of this application is at your own risk.

2.4 User Responsibility

The user is responsible for managing the data recorded by this application. Please handle backup files (JSON) carefully as they contain personal activity records.

2.5 Changes to Terms

The developer may change this policy and terms without prior notice. The changed terms shall take effect from the time they are posted on this application or official site.
