Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms") set forth the conditions for using the application "DayLeaf Calendar" (hereinafter referred to as "the App") provided by Udon Soba (hereinafter referred to as "the Developer"). By using the App, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

1. License

The Developer grants users who agree to these Terms a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App. This license becomes effective upon purchase or distribution via the Microsoft Store or other platforms.

2. Prohibited Actions

Reproduction, modification, reverse engineering, decompiling, distribution to third parties, and infringement of intellectual property rights of the App are prohibited.

3. Disclaimer

The Developer makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the content, functionality, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the App. The Developer is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the App.

[Data Safety & Disclaimer]
DayLeaf Calendar is designed and implemented with the utmost care to help users safely manage their important data.
For example, when migrating data (changing the storage location), existing data is "copied" to the new location, and the original data is left intact.
Even in the event of errors or cancellations, normal operations will not delete or overwrite the original data.

However, the Developer is not responsible for any data loss or corruption caused by OS or hardware failures, unexpected errors or bugs, or external factors (such as viruses, power outages, or storage failures).
The Developer is not liable for any damages (including data loss, corruption, leakage to third parties, or business interruption) resulting from the use of the App.

Please be sure to regularly back up important data yourself.
We strongly recommend backing up to external storage or cloud services as a precaution.

[Example Backup Methods]
・Periodically copy the entire "data storage folder" to a USB drive, external HDD, or cloud storage (OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.).
・You can check the location of the "data storage folder" in the app's settings screen.
・If you attach particularly important files or documents, be sure to save them elsewhere before registering them in the App.

This software is primarily intended for "daily records" and "note-taking". Please exercise caution when using it for long-term storage or management of business-critical or irreplaceable data.

4. Fees and Refunds

The App's price is as displayed on the purchase or distribution platform. Refunds are subject to the sales terms of each platform. For purchases via the Microsoft Store, the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale apply.

5. Agreement to Platform Policies

By purchasing or using the App on a platform (Microsoft Store or other app stores), you also agree to the privacy policy and terms of use of that platform. These platform policies are considered part of these Terms.

6. Usage Notes

The App is intended for daily records and file management, but does not guarantee the integrity or permanence of stored data. Always back up important data yourself. The Developer is not responsible for any data loss or other damages resulting from the use of the App.

7. Changes to the Terms

The Developer may change these Terms as necessary.
Changes to the Terms take effect when announced in the App or on the official website.
In the event of significant changes, users will be notified via the App or the official website.
